Lake Shadows Meadow
About Us
The founders of Lake Shadows Meadow, Becky Albright and Philip Tedeschi, met as young Social Workers, working at a residential treatment center in Larkspur, up the road from Palmer Lake. Philip bought Lake Shadows Farm (the adjacent little ranch, built in the 1930’s on 2.2 acres) from Leonard Wassum in 1992. Philip and Becky married in 1993 and were able to acquire additional acreage from the Wassums with help from our families.
We have lived here for over 30 years, creatively investing, improving and tending the land. We raised three wonderful children at Lake Shadows and hosted scores more.
A few years ago, we began dreaming about using a few acres of our beautiful property to build a “pocket neighborhood” rosschapin.com The importance of community, attainable housing, and ecologically responsible development draws on our Social Work values. Now our dream has morphed into the current iteration of Lake Shadows Meadow.
We hold immense gratitude for the opportunities we have had for home and land ownership and look forward to sharing this with others.
